Nic
Does anyone know if there is a plug in/add on programme for MS Excel that will automatically check on the net for the latest exchange rates, so it will automatically keep a spread sheet up to date with the latest rates? Todd
Go to data, get external data and new web query. You can pull info from xe.com which you can set up to auto refresh, at work just now so can't really say much more (big brother watching!) but it's pretty straight forward. Good Luck Todd
Nic
Todd. Been trying to work out how to set it up but no luck. I've gone to get external data but don't have the option to import from the web, it just gives option to import text file or Filemake pro file. BTW I'm using MS Office 2004 for Mac so may be slightly different. I've been onto xe.com and you can automatically set up to download a daily data file of exchange rates but I think you need to pay. If you are able to give me any more instructions I would appreciate it
Todd
TBH I can't comment on the MAC front, all office suites had this function from 2003 on and surprised you aint got it! Stil at work but I'll havea gander when I get home, on the excel forums (sad I know) so see what I can find out for you. Todd
Todd
Nic, See if this works, the attachment has the exchange rate for the various countries based against the HK Dollar. You should be able to right click on the info there and select "Update Field", this should then nip off to the net and download the updated data. Works on my setup, fingers crossed

Nic
Hi Todd the exchange rate spread sheet you did for me has proved very helpful, big I owe you. It would also be a big help if I could have a UK pound based spread sheet so I can exchange rates of different countries against the pound. i don't suppose you could help me out with this to could you?
