hodge
How many of you guy have converted to this and how do you find it compared to the stock fork and slave cylinder. Will it make the depressing of the clutch pedal easier or harder. Is there anything I need to watch out for when I'm doing this. I've spoken to Ed Morris as he gas done this conversion with his 2UZ. Any input would be great. Thanks John
garethr
I doubt if anyone has converted from stock to hydraulic release bearing. Ed didn't have a choice as he's using the auto UZ bellhousing.

Scott
I'm sure I read that Chris had done this in the past for someone who had problems with their leg/foot due to injury or disability. Made the pedal as light as a feather IIRC.
Tricky-Ricky
I would imagine its all down to the size of the master cylinder, as that will dictate the force applied to the actuator, you can make the std clutch effort lighter by using a lager master cylinder, same applies to brakes to increase the braking effort. Scott
It is possible that is what Chris did. I just remember a thread where he modified the clutch mechanism to make it very light.
hodge
well i would imagine judging by the size of the fork that came with the clutch its gona be a heavy 1 so maybe this could be a good thing. Looking at the big picture i dont think this is going to take a lot to do.
JamieP
Twin/triple plate clutches are not normally heavy, my rps twin is very very light, lighter than stock id say, almost no rattle, id not bother.
hodge
I just don't lik. Don't like the idea of the huge fork sitcking out the side of by gearbox. Did your rps us. The stock fork or come with it's own.
