Hayfever

Oh yes.

I nipped out the other day. I tried something new. I fell for the Chemist's sales pitch about the new nasal powder thing.

Thing is, the new thing is rubbish, doesn't work so I'll be going back. Back to the old thing.

Does anyone else find their hayfever is affected by tiredness? Mine is REALLY bad when I haven't slept and woken up on the alarm, but when it's a day off (as I've had for the last week) I'm OK and the pills actually work!

I switched to Levocetirizine 5mg tablet and the fairly new Avamys 27.5 mcg (Fluticasone Furoate) in only the last couple of months and it's like I don't have Hayfever any more. NOT one symptom!

I'm alergic to: Grass, Weeds and histamine.

HTH

Think I might buy some of those dust masks from a DIY store tomorrow and look like hannibal lecter for a few days if it gives me some relief :(

Yeah, and then you look like the Alien when you take it off and there's slime and goo dripping from your face.

I've got a while yet - my hayfever doesn't usually kick in until the back end of summer.

theres no better feeling than clearing my nose of snobs as yellow as lemons each morning. saying that though i still feel like sh1t during the days. the best medication ive found so far for myself is the prescribed antihestamines i get for my skin allergy.
