Howdy,

As per the following group buy I have my set for sale, they have never been installed and since the NA is up for sale I cant see me ever using them.

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=161152

These are ready now and available for shipment this week, just looking to get my money back so how does £35 including delivery to mainland UK sound?

I've made them in the past, but these ones are top notch quality - much better than I've managed to do.

i can probably make these if someone needs more :)

Would be nice if someone can make these so that the speakers mount flush with the door cards but are help in place by these brackets (as supposed to the door card).

They are a perfect fit. When mounted the speaker is outside the doorcard, as with all 6.5" speakers.

What Imi means is, it would be great if there was a set where the speakers were flush with the doorcard (they don't exist at present).

CNC is how the originals were made :)

Would you be able to match the original group buy price? If so you could sell quite a few sets, they are very popular.

Probably could do it that way, you would need shallow speakers though as the magnet would hit the skin of the door :(

Most speakers come with spacers, so I doubt this would be a problem...

van_damme_supra would be great if you do

Eh? A spacer would bring the speaker out to the position that we are talking about and thus negate the flush look

Ummmmmmmm no...

That's what I meant...

In case the speaker is too "deep"... just to make it pop out a little bit more...

The brackets make it pop out just fine.

Again, the discussion was brought about when Imi pointed out that it would be nice to have the speakers flush. It isn't possible due to the depth of the speakers.

You then said that you could overcome this with spacers. The depth of a speaker isn't an issue, with the brackets you can throw any 6.5" speaker that I have seen.

Again.... the discussion was based on making the speakers flush.... not making them fit.

Here's a few pics.

The reason why I said mine weren't as good is because I used two pieces of of wood instead of one.

Worse, it would hit the glass of the window. I doubt a normal aftermarket speaker, behind the door car would fit.
