RobSheffield
Dont bother, they will try and dump you with a firm thats sells jobs to the likes of me. They will offer you half of what your worth. I thought as much. Company is called CCL in Sheffield. Very keen to get me to go for an interview, spammed me with 10 emails.
The Raven
Yeah they will, then get you selling for as little as £20 per job, then they will try and sell them to me for £80+ I steal these types of people as and when i find them one of them worked out he could earn 4x as much working for me instead of them will none of the bull. Probem is finding them and getting them away from the sales managers. Next time im goint to make an offer to the main guy for the whole sales team. Attero
It must be nice to be in a position to look down on others but with the current economic climate with people losing their jobs and homes sometimes they have no choice but to end up at the job centre, not by choice but as a last resort. Speaking from experience I went into a job centre once about ten years ago and 99% of the people in there were scummy scrotey oiks getting their free hand out so they could blow it on drugs, booze and/or fags but being out of work currently and applying for 100's of jobs I've ended up losing a home and am back with my parents and have had no choice but to sign on as a last resort and a far greater percentage of the people in there are older, respectable and just unfortunate victims of the current situation. I hope other employers out there don't share your attitude, especially the one I had an interview with this week! I've met a whole bunch of people from the job centre once since I've known people to go there. Providing you there because you have no choice, then that is fine, but the larger majority I have known to go are scum and i wouldn't give people a try if they cannot be bothered. Turn up with the right attitude and with the intent to pass the knowledge that 'this guy' is ready for action, and you won't have a problem. Someone would have a better chance with me if they simply did not mention they were from the job centre until after I employ them. That way they've proven they are worthy on their own. I'm not sure how the job centre works like that though.
