evinX
Hi all, my 3 speedos on the dash and auto shifter dont illuminate with the lights anymore, so when im driving at night i cant see my speed/petrol/selected gear, which is really an issue for me. Been sorting all my supras electrical problems recently but this one remains, dimmer switch dosent work either, found a blown 10 amp fuse in the footwell, replaced it but still nothing. Any help will be great! Thanks, Kevin

jimmenico
have you removed the speedo unit and checked the bulb hasn't blown (or just replace the bulb and see)??
evinX
acutally thats an idea! thank you mate:) if a light blew in the cluster could that do the auto selcter in to?
evinX
Can mods move this to technical, maybe more options will pop up in there:)
pistonbroke
If your dimmer doesn't work, my money is on that being the problem. Though I suppose all three bulbs could have blown if you're really unlucky.

evinX
Does your interior light work? it never used to so that was rewired a long time ago, but the cluster and shifter used to light back then
sams
Well the interior light and shifter lights run on the same loom and same fuse in the enginebay fuse box, but your dash light I would point my finger at the dimmer switch
Nicolai
If the dimmer switch isnt working, the rest wont work either. Had the same problem.

Wazz72
I'd put my money on the dimmer switch being faulty.
