Looks ridiculously clean - I'm guessing your father-in-law is super anal about cleaning it, as I'm sure he drives it. Hope it finds a worthy new home.

No he dont drive it, he has a few other E-types for driving, this car is for a collector that wants the best available really.

Is it officially the best in the world? What is it that makes it actually better than a brand new E-Type?

Its won best of show and concours at every big jaguar show its been to, it is regarded as the best available im told.

Test drove a couple of these a few months ago, as I have reached middle age I am loving classics more and more :D

The ones I tested were a bit tired and around the 15K mark, this is just car porn and looks undriven, lottery winner or rich collector kind of car but I guess worth every penny

Why not use one of the exclusive auction houses that sell in Europe, many to be found in the classic car mags, small commision of course but get the right buyers looking who have 90K to spend on a car that will do 100 ish miles a year :)

I dont think he will have trouble selling it mate, he put the word out that he was thinking of selling and has been asked for pictures by a lot of people, (thats where i came in) thought id show you guys what a really clean car looks like:)

If you ever want one ill take you round there mate, he only lives in the next road to me and im round there most days, great guy that loves talking about cars and there is nothing he dont know about E-types, he has a few others that do get used he might be talked into selling;)

Gorgeous car, I have always liked the e type.

I fitted 8 doors for a customers garage and he has many classics, one being a white e type with 8,000 miles from new on the clock. It wasn't anywhere near concours though.

Cheers, love chatting to classic car lovers, have been to a couple of meets of late and the passion and attention to detail is amazing !, one of the reasons I kept the Vette stock, stock original rules in the classic world and I am starting to get it

I have decided to get a 355 now, have just finished the Vette and will start the search for a hard top 355 6 speed this week :)
