ManwithSupra
It's a genuine NOS Sport Compact Wet Systems Kit. Ordered it online from The States. How are you going to control the Fuelling/NOS mix? Are you installing an additional fuelling system such as an extra fuel injector which is activated when WOT is applied which would be mounted in or near the throttle body to make sure the mixture does not lean out too much? Thorin
There is a place in the North of Ireland that does refills. To dodgy US cylinders without a kitemark?
pistonbroke
As much as it is your choice what you do to your car, I can see one of two things happening. 1) Your engine is going to commit hara kiri without some fuel control (your stock ECU will not compensate for nitrous) 2) You're going to crash it......spectacularly. TT Paul
have a chat with matt wallis he had nos fitted to his car didn't mention any piggyback on ecu when using nos...

All he needs is a fuel supply to the fuel solenoid in the NOS kit that runs pres independant to the main fuel system and hopefully he bought a EFI kit otherwise he wont have the fuel jets for the pres he will need to run;)

As far as I remember It monitors the pressure in the bottle and it adjusts the rate of fuel delivered so you don’t get any Rich or Lean spots when using NOS. As long as its set up correctly then there is no reason why he will have problems but he should be aware that it could be difficult getting the fuel/nos mixture right. Ian C
It's a wet kit, that means the nozzle has an NO jet and a fuel jet, and they are sized to provide the correct mix. NOS is quite independant of engine characteristics for fuelling requirements because you don't have to worry about cams, VE, emissions etc. - all the ingredients are jetted in under a known pressure. The thing you do have to watch out for is firing it in at too low a revs and bending a rod, or it running when traction control is otherwise cutting the fuel injectors. All NOS systems are supplied with fuel jets that will be massively safe if installed at the correct fuel pressure, the system is then FINE TUNED to give max power at a safe mixture by lowering the pressure. So wether the solenoid is adjustable or not it is still tuneable;)
