Scott
I have done a search but can't find anything to help me... How does one go about removing the sensor? Over the next few months I am thinking about giving the wishbones an overhaul, hoping to get them on in the winter. I remember having issues with my suspension and thinking how much easier it would be to remove the sensor. I unbolted/unscrewed something on it but it still wouldn't budge. Is there a special technique/tool or is it brute force and patience? Obviously I don't want to break them when they are working perfectly fine. Sorry if I'm a bit vague, I can't remember everything exactly. I'm sure the guys who know what I am talking about.... will know what I'm talking about lol. Thanks
TTRickeh
It's easier just to disconnect them from inside the car (just behind each rear strut-top underneath plastic panels) and pull them through the rubber grommet behind the rear seats and move them out the way, have heard it's easy to damage them by undoing the bolts. I tried what you did, too, by undoing the bolts etc but it didn't budge and I didn't want to pull too hard.
Scott
Might just do it that way then. At least when on the bench I will be able to get a proper look at it and take it from there. Are the fronts in the same place you mention? Cheers
TTRickeh
No idea about the fronts as I was only dealing with the rear I don't think they are though.
