dr_jekyll
reacenty my AFR has decided to change itself. its ran at 15 idle, 14.5- 15 easy driving and 11.0 on WOT for about 2 years , and if id lift off it would lean out as it should. recently it hase decided that it wants to idle on 12 , 13 easy driving drop to 10.0 on WOT and when i lift id gose rich ?? why would it suddenly decide to do this? i have recalibrated my innovate lc-1 a few times but it remains the same. also the little computer behind the dash is going crazy making all sorts of sounds, not sure if its related. aditionally my fuelling is controlled by a greddy emanage-blue. muchas gracias
Tricky-Ricky
Unfortunately it could be a number of things, if you have re calibrated the sensor, then i guess it could be its gone bad, or the LC-1 has, second it could be an emanage problem, pressure sensor maybe? I would be inclined to suspect the emanage going by your description, but the closed throttle AFR has me puzzled. Otherwise i would start looking at fuel pressure etc. Edited April 23, 2010 by Tricky-Ricky (see edit history)
dr_jekyll
could it be to do with the outside air temp , tonite i have been using the car and it 10 degreas coller outside air tem than when i have been using the car in the day and it seems to be behaveing more like im used too. . i was thinking maybee the colder air being far more dence giving a higher air to fuel ratio maybee? i fuel pressure gauge is going to be needed i think, could a failin fpr be the cause to overfuelling ?
