Benyon
Hi, i just need someone to give me a clue as to what might be wrong although this maybe a long shot. Ive not had a single problem with my car (n/a) since buying it over two years ago(apart from a small problem it already had when I first bought it), it has always ran mint. Anyway when I started it this morning to go to work a small bit of blue/greyish smoke came out the exhaust, only one small puff when I started it nothing constant. I have always looked after the running of my car so it wont be due to neglect or anything. I understand its an old car but it runs mint, I cant imagine something major being wrong. I will check again tomorrow see if it does it again as this morning was the first time.
j80leo
Valve stem seals?
pistonbroke
If it's only when you start it, it's valve stem seals for sure. If it's not creating a bond style smoke screen, I wouldnt worry about it. It'll last for years still before they need doing.
