supracars
Show me the link to an englishman doing the same in Iraq Ive got a life dude, but it would be better if these foreign f**kers didn't keep winding me up and more to the point English that stand up for them. Matey, they are here to stay like it or not but it would make your life a lot easier if you didn't stress about it. Is what your asking for ever happened in history?? Never Plus its not just your uncles that have bled for our country, we the Brits used the entire Indian army to fight Hitler to make this country what it is today, look at your history first before assuming stuff. The main problems with most racist/fascists/terrorists etc is the lack of education, to argue/reason with them you have to go on an idiot/stupid level however they will always win due to more experience. Kopite
Listening to Radio 2 yesterday they were broadcasting from Luton, where they were in a Muslim only school abd we had to listen to this piece of $#@! who went and protested when our soldiers marched in a town where lots of soldiers who died had come from, he got to shout abuse and stand with a placard saying baby killers, the $#@!er could hardly speak english and ranted on about the almight god this and that etc, basically he hated the west and everyone who was not Muslim, pieces of $#@! like that need to be sent somewhere, preferably their version of the promised land!!! You need to wake up and smell the coffee, main stream politicians are only interested in votes and lining their own pockets, they don't give a f**k about people who do not vote etc, my uncles who died in the war did not fight for what Britain has become today. Yeah but you've still not answered the original question?
Paul
Ha ha I thought Paul was the most bitter, twisted and hate-filled xenophobic racist on this board but YOU WIN congratulations you complete and utter mini hitler:D LOL, sh*t, I've lost my title Must try harder;)
Tourniquet
Paul Im making a further push... Nope, to clarify if I dislike someone it's because they're a c4nt simple as that. If I like someone it's because they're nice. It doesnt matter if someone is black, white or blue with pink dots it's usually the mythical fairy tale character they follow that causes the problems somewhere because religious people just can not keep the shit to themselves - they're incapable ! it has to be thrust upon others and with the ludicrous stories behind it that's when I become mystified about how dumb people can be. I have many friends that are black, white, polish, musi, couple jewish blah blah blah but there's never a problem so long as religion stays away from me because as people they're great. I think religion is the single biggest cause of problems in the world - be it for whatever other factor it always comes down to religion in the end. I went to church for years and I know all the hyms and stories etc etc etc but apart from boring the hell out of me I came to my own conclusion that The Bible is the most edited fairy tale piece of crap ever printed. I decided at about 11 that our God that I was told is the ONLY God AND most powerful God (figure that out) is absolutely no different from the Greeks who had a God for everything and for all the other faiths who say the same. It's how you act that makes you a good person not whatever stupid restrictions your religion places on you that you follow. I think people only need something to believe in as they probably hope that this existence isn't really it.The thing that bugs me most is the tripe that religious people believe, I just don't see how in a modern world it's still relevant ! For one Science has proven so much !! Also if it was written in my holy book (as shown earlier in the thread) that the main geezer was a paedo I certainly would not be following him or entertain a word of it. For another thing when I see religous people such as the Jewish in the area I have worked for the past year...they look soooo fcukin miserable due to the way it dictates their existence. They are utter fruit cakes, they all look almost identical, wear the same shit clothes, drive the same shit volvo's, bang the same looking women and all have the same shit hair cuts with the silly curly sideburns - where does it say 'if thy love me, u must look like a dick' !! So yes I must be a bigot of sorts, not racist. But not in the sense I dislike someone because of their beliefs full stop ! More that I think anyone who believes any of the fairy tales are deluded especially if they live their lives according to them. Thing is no matter what is going it ALWAYS comes into things no matter what and it's just sillyness. People that pick and choose which parts suits them are probably the worst of them all. "I wear a Burka because of my religion" ! Yeah then why the fcuk you going to school and/or going to work then - cant have it both ways ! Appologies for the diss-jointedness and poor spelling/grammar but I edited alot and started to get fed up to be honest !
evinX
I wont support the BNP. Just make that clear. Heres what i see This country is mixed, we know that, everyones culture/race needs to be respected, along with their religion, religious festivals and selebrations. If someone dosent like it or does not want to selebrate it thats fine, leave them alone, Why make a fuss? why cant people just get on with their day? Must be bad minded deep down if you cant let it go. Now one thing ive noticed over the years from other races/cultures, is dissagreeing about is Christmas (its just an example, theres more) foregin people have been given the opportunity to live here in the uk and should also respect this countrys festivals/selebrations including religous days. some DO some DONT, im not hitting on them. I have had the pleasure of meeting many foreign people who turned out to be very genuine people and some didnt. Christmas is not as big as it used to be becuase room needs to be made for other selebrations to come in, and i dont think much people can see that and keep on going on about how the uks traditions are going down and down and should be kept at the top, this country is about being EQUAL, so keeping christmas (for example) at the top wouldnt be fair would it? even though its uk tradition. I know we have extremists from different races/cultures, which helps to spark racism, but these are the people who need to be sorted out INDIVIDUALLY, not the whole community that holds innocent people who really, just want to live life peacefully. From what i see it works both ways, foreign and uk citizens are helping to cause more problems. BNP are not helping becuase in every race/culture there is good and bad, and they seem to be targeting ALL people from certain races. What about the good minded people? they get sucked into it all. BNP wont solve anything, its down to the people. Probably didnt hit all the points people wanted to hear, but thats what i see.... Please dont grill me...if you dissagre just say so, lets not get into a debate > argument
Tourniquet
See what you're saying mate and to be fair you are pretty much right but not on the Christmas not being a top celebration bit. The thing everyone has seem to forgotten is that although we are multi-everything we weren't asked if we wanted to be we just got stuck with it. England should be British and Christian first and foremost because that's what we are as a country even though I don't follow it. You shouldn't go somewhere and tell the people from that place what to believe and how to live. I personally don't see why we have Ede and all that other stuff BUT as we have a multi everything country and as the generations are more diluted to being British as time goes by it's inevitable I suppose. I wouldn't go to a country and want it changed for me - I'd pick one I loved as it was in the first place or just stay home - common sense to me ! penguin
People that pick and choose which parts suits them are probably the worst of them all. "I wear a Burka because of my religion" ! Yeah then why the fcuk you going to school and/or going to work then - cant have it both ways ! so - just because someone wears a burka ( and a lot of the women who do - do so out of choice) shouldn't work or educate themselves? Or do you believe they shouldn't do so because "that's what religion tell em" ?
michael
England should be British and Christian first and foremost because that's what we are as a country even though I don't follow England is just a pile of rocks, soil and plants with some other countries bolted on and surrounded by water. I dare say there are very few people living here who can't trace their roots back to someone from another country and very few people are true Christians. Can't we just be a place where people are happy, the government honest and our lives enriched by the process of learning from each other no matter where we come from? Nobody has to adopt a particular faith or do anything they don't want to, I see no harm in tolerating those who wish too though. What I don't want to see is areas full of a specific group, events and organisations just for certain people of a particular faith or colour... blend it up, refine it, pick all the best bits out and move forward. Clinging on to historical dreams that have been bleached by time is no way to be, just focus on now and how you can be a better person yourself, then try to help others do the same... even those with a better tan. Septic
Tourniquet- your analysis of religion and religious people and their sentiments is hilarious. You may find the idea of religion ridiculous, but at least some of us have made an appreciable attempt to understand and analyse it. It is abundantly clear from your posts that you have VERY LITTLE knowledge of religion (and the specifics of certain religions) and its very hard to take you seriously. Also if it was written in my holy book (as shown earlier in the thread) that the main geezer was a paedo I certainly would not be following him or entertain a word of it What on Earth are you on about? This is proof of how little you know of Islam (if this is the faith you are impliedly associating with the above). The person who posted that other link didn't have the intellect or decency to research what he provided. That is not an extract from the Holy Qur'an. Those were extracts from Hadiths- so-called recorded sayings of the Prophet. The latter extracts vary in their authenticity. I posted information on this very forum regarding the above issue. Do you want to learn about it or are you going to carry on living your life knowing little and raging on your keyboard a lot? Take someone like me who thought religion was merely a form of control previously. Unlike you, instead of just having a hissy fit because I didn't like going to Church, I did research on my faith. Ask any of my friends how they were/are surprised that of all people, I became a practising muslim. No one indoctrinated me. I did this little thing called research. Ask my friends, who are actually mostly agnostics/atheists- if I am deluded. Far from it. I would educate you on what realy is in the Qur'an and what Islam really stands for so you could, for once in your life, make a real appreciable attempt to analyse the faith but I don't want to be perceived as a preacher or forcing my religion down your throat. What agitates me is that you know SO VERY LITTLE about our faith (and evidently other faiths) yet make such stark judgements about it. It is your freedom to do so but that actually says more about you than it does about the people you proceed to critique. Anyways- is this forum always like this? I love the Supra to bits and can't wait to actually buy one but many of the members on here really make me want to pull my hair out. Its my fault for taking it to heart really but I don't want to go to a meet and be referred to as that muslim guy that wont shut up.

Septic
You are very welcome to come to visit any mosque. You will be greeted courteously and not made to feel uncomfortable. Can you just stop and think for yourself and not let your whole life's views be dictated by sensationalist garble like Dispatches? No white zones in Manchester?? What kind of ghetto were you thinking of going to?
