Homer
(I'm secretly hoping in the next 50-90years or most certainly in my lifetie - this place does become an Islamic republic ) Ah bugger, now I want to cut your head off with a blunt knife, record in on an aging VHS recorder and post it on the interwebs and chant some pro british chants, such as "i should be so lucky, lucky, lucky". Maybe that was Australian? It's not important. Anyway, my point is, I hope you are joking.

tbourner
Ref: Penguins policies, I agree with most of them, apart from: Defence: withdraw forces from afghan + Iraq and make it policy not to get involved in anyone elses problems I kind of agree, except we can't just withdraw now! We're in now and we have to stay until it's done (then make sure we don't go in in future) reduce trident subs to half.. If we don't mess with other states we won't have a need to use em will we?! I think a nuclear deterrent is VERY important, you say we won't need them if we don't mess with other states - IMO we're too powerful a nation to NOT have a strong nuclear defence. What about North Korea and other similar places? If we were defenceless what's to stop them nuking us and invading? they'd love to take over Britain and it'd be piss easy if we were sitting ducks! welfare system: no contributions to anyone not working for more than 2 years... Lifelong dole dodgers - 6 month prison sentence followed by 50% tax on all earnings for 5 years Lifelong dodgers should just be given a job, not sent to prison and overtaxed - otherwise there's NO WAY they'll want to work afterwards, you're effectively forcing them to continue dodging the rest of their lives! Prison maybe for repeat dodgers but then they should be given a job at normal tax rates and have benefits removed. police: increase police powers- coppers can give trouble makers a good pasting Had to point out that this is a definite YES from me! climate change: it's a hoax - make it a policy everyone knows it's a hoax I don't think it's a hoax personally, and neither do many other people, you'd have trouble forcing everyone to believe it didn't exist and that would turn people against you. You don't have to turn all your policies towards green if you don't want to but there's no gain in trying to force everyone away from the idea. Oh and I'll make national service compulsary - 3 years from age 18. That will reduce the binge drinking/Chav culture taking this place to the dogs Ask the forces guys on here if they agree with that one!! You'd be putting all our willing and able forces at huge risk by sticking useless oiks out there with them!! Unless of course you're just talking about army camp or maybe some local community service jobs or something. The difficulty would be getting the right trainers involved - IMO you can't just have strict army guys shouting at them cos the 'good kids' would be wrecked by it, you need someone who can sort out the ASBO gits and give them a good pasting until they learn the rules, but give the reasonable lads an easier time. Gaz6002
BNP, C18, and the NF - They aren't the same thing. Most people who are 'in the loop' on such subjects know that the BNP are sellouts to the mainstream. Believe it or not, if you type Stormfront into Google you will find the largest White Nationalist forum. Id say it was torn 60/40 being pro Nick Griffin based on his past and present antics. I know exactly what those guys think about the BNP, I've done extensive research on the subject. That's the point though, isn't it? The BNP can't shift the ties with these extreme-right groups, because the media won't let them. Stupid really, because once the fanaticism and spin are out of the way and the rose-tinted goggles are off, things look very different indeed. It makes me laugh how many people have come on spouting their racism cries in this thread. FFS, get a grasp on what's happening here. A revolt of disgruntled (psuedo-?) indigenous public is slightly different to what was happening 70 years ago. There's no denying immigration policy has had an adverse effect on the country IMO, but it's done now so the question for me is how do we go forward? Certainly the three main parties don't get my support. So who does? I'm not voting for the farcical BNP charade, I am unsure about UKIP, so what's left? I'd be interested in hearing who the immigrants would choose.

tbourner
The other thing is the 3 parties are the only ones with a chance of getting into government, so if you vote BNP or UKIP or any other party it's only for local issues.

That's a (fairly) good point. I won't be voting for any of the parties but that doesn't mean that I'll be staying at home ready to accept whoever wins. Despite having no-one to vote for I will head down to the polling station and effectively spoil my paper. TBH I'd like a 'none of the above' option. Imagine if the result was that the majority winner showed that the people of the UK weren't happy with ANY party winning. ....but we don't like (real) change. Fitz
i just saw the bnp political broadcast. Likewise, at first I thought someone was taking the pi** but it was an actual broadcast for the BNP. Even had an asian gentleman called 'rajinder singh' who claims he will be voting BNP. p.s. I had a read of the 'Monster Raving Loony Party' manifesto today, made me laugh.
Dyer864
I watched the broadcast tonight, and thought he spoke well and agreed to nearly everything he said really ! I am no way a racist person, my job is a salesperson, to which i deliver to nearly 90% of asian people , i work with eastern europeans, but have to agree, there must be a limit to how many people are allowed over here , whilst our unemployment is high(yes there are lazy gits living here, who don't want to work )! I would like to see me living in an asian/eastern european country and getting the same benefits/ freedom of speech / religion over there, i very much doubt it, i'd be locked up i xpect ! as many on here av said, i don't trust any of the partys , especially labour ! we want to get this country back on it's feet and be proud to be british again ! and yes i am a very patriotic welshman / british man , who wants to see this country doing well, and for the generation to come ! marbleapple
I got a flyer from them today. I took the time to read it.... wish I had not bothered. They wanted to pull the lads out of Iraq.... I disagree with them. They said climate change didn't exist... whatever They wanted to stop immigration.... they didn't bother to give a reason. They had a picture of Nick Griffin in front of Churchill.... poor Churchill. Their advertising convinced me to vote for anyone but them. Gaz6002
They wanted to pull the lads out of Iraq.... I disagree with them. Can I ask why? I've yet to see a justification for being there that I can relate to.
marbleapple
Can I ask why? I've yet to see a justification for being there that I can relate to. I simply think that if you commit to do something you should only leave when the job was done. Whether the decision is right or wrong to go in, now that we are there I think the lads should finish the job the best as they are able to. It would benfit no one (including the memory the lads who lost their lives trying to do the job) if we just packed up and went home with a job not finished. Perhaps, rather sadly, the job will only be done after a couple of hundred years or something? Or never.
