Septic
What saddens me that no one (apart from one woman) in that video actually challenges that woman. The verses of the Qur'an are so clear!! And what' this intolerance against Christians?? What about: "...and nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those who say, 'We are Christians,' because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant" (5:82). Also the woman says muslims shouldn't live in a non-muslim state. So why doesn't she just eff off??! Some of these cocooned so-called muslims following this Wahabi style Saudi interpretation of Islam defy logic. I have never met anyone like this but clearly from the video they do exist even if they are in a minorty. Even so, they should be educated and dealt with accordingly. For e.g this woman in the video has no clue. Such intolerance conflicts directly with Islamic teachings: But the treaties are not dissolved with those Pagans with whom you have entered into alliance and who have you subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfill your engagements with them to the end of their term: for God Loves the righteous." And verse 6 says, "If one among the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him so that he may hear the Word of God; and then escort him to where he can be secure." 21:107 to 109 (O Prophet?) 'We have not sent you except to be a mercy to all mankind:" Declare, "Verily, what is revealed to me is this, your God is the only One God, so is it not up to you to bow down to Him?' But if they turn away then say, "I have delivered the Truth in a manner clear to one and all, and I know not whether the promised hour (of Judgment) is near or far." "He who believes in God and the Last Day should honour his guest, should not harm his neighbour, should speak good or keep quiet." (Bukhari, Muslim) "Beware on the Day of Judgement; I shall myself be complainant against him who wrongs a Non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim state or lays on him a responsibility greater than he can bear or deprives him of anything that belongs to him." (Al-Mawardi) "Anyone who kills a Non-Muslim who had become our ally will not smell the fragrance of Paradise." (Bukhari) I could go on but MI5 are probably sorting out my crib in Guantanamo Bay as I type this.

Tourniquet
It's true my knowledge on religion apart from what I got from church is somewhat limited I make no arguement against it, but I have no wish to learn about mine or any other due to what bits i DO know, the way my country has turned out, the sectioning off of areas, the ramblings of mad men, the many interpretations claiming to be the correct one, the do as I say not as I do attitude various preachers spout and the fact that the so called most peaceful religion has managed to produce the most barbaric stone age deluded missfits ever to walk on this green earth I would much rather they all wrap themselves up in their holy books of all the different varieties and shove it up their arses. Oh and just for the record, all those dirty noncing priests should be culled along with the rest of the trash one or other various Gods created. No wonder, if they've covered their religion with a Chinese horseradish. I had some Wahabi flavour crisps once and they blew my mind. Nic
I have no time for Ex Pats either Adam, they really piss me off, set up little communities and slag of Britain whilst actually trying to recreate Britain!!!! So I piss you off just because I decided to travel, experience new cultures and look for work outside of the UK?
jagman
The whole "British" slant is a bit odd - there isnt and never has been an even distibution of wealth - the immigrant population has far less of the wealth Take away the Govt, common land, church land, etc - and the privately held land is still in the hands of the descendants of the Norman invaders of 1066 ,who were French... Tommy Atkins may have went to war for the country , but still returned to his 400 sq ft of it , oddly Mr Singh also went to war for the UK ,and never stepped foot in it - go figure ! michael
I think the Saxons would say something about that! The Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Roman folk would probably have a few words (or grunts) to add too. People seem to be under the bizarre impression that a load of "English" people just suddenly appeared and populated the whole country in the 1900's. Tourniquet
so - just because someone wears a burka ( and a lot of the women who do - do so out of choice) shouldn't work or educate themselves? Or do you believe they shouldn't do so because "that's what religion tell em" ? Yep. that's what religion tells em !! Only it doesn't does it. Chances are it's the males making them do it. Those that do so by choice I just don't understand. No place for it in our country. Can't we just be a place where people are happy, the government honest and our lives enriched by the process of learning from each other no matter where we come from?Nobody has to adopt a particular faith or do anything they don't want to, I see no harm in tolerating those who wish too though. What I don't want to see is areas full of a specific group, events and organisations just for certain people of a particular faith or colour...QUOTE] Would love nothing more than that. I like to visit other countries for their culture and to see something different etc not to see what I can ponce or plan to kill the occupants because they don't love the same car/music/God or whatever that I do. I see no harm in tolerating people that do want a particular faith but they have to segregate themselves and make no effort with us and our ways/laws, that's when I get annoyed. To be honest though Im sure it's some wrecking it for all but the point has come where enough is more than enough now so now Im not interested in any of it. I asked for a better place to reference from, but i was told to go and visit a Mosque. After the Dispatches "Undercover Mosques" I would be very reluctant to visit. I guess its also from when I stayed at my friends house for a couple of weeks in Manchester and I had to adhere to the "no white zones" as well . No white zones in Manchester?? What kind of ghetto were you thinking of going to? Are you saying such segregation doesn't exist ? I may have missunderstood you but just in case I haven't you're wrong lol Places such as Moss Side exist because of this. The old joke "what's the Capital of Pakistan" ? "East Ham" exists because of this. In fact my daughters Doctor told us that Barking in Essex made an agreement during the 60's...or were rather told by the government that all the scum, ex-crims, immigrants etc were going to be holed up there which is why it's such a well known crime ridden shit hole where it's spot the honkie. Which is also why newer places when built such as Paradise Park in Hackney HAVE to 'give' a percentage (im thinking half) to benefit bums etc and the rest can be sold. This is in the hope that the 'lesser' people live somewhere nice with nice people and WANT to be good and live happily thus eliminating Moss Side type problems by mixing. I feel the same sometimes despite not being muslim. For all you know you could end up chatting with a fookin fascist. I may be wrong but in my case atleast it's literally the arguemnets get heated because religion is such a sensitive subject which is why I for one would like to see ALL such topics band from this site. In other circumstances live and let live and enjoy what we have in common. Obviously swastica tattoed skin heads etc wouldn't be a good idea to mix with but I hardly think such people would own a Supra or atleast be on such a forum and attending meets. Chances are if you're not liked it's because you're a dick imo. If the likes of the Gurkha s were mercenaries-they weren,t very good at it The problem is the 'local's being pushed to the back due to having to look after the influx of peoples from elsewhere. My nigerian friend affectionately known as the spear chucking sister!!! was offered £3k, a new place all furnished with new appliances and all expenses paid to move to Yorkshire and out of East London - WTF I'd love to move to Yorkshire especially for free - even better to be paid for it, but alas I can't cause I work, pay my taxes and oh Im English ! By the way The Gurkha's weren't mercenaries hence why they are in a Regiment. When it comes to the Military that's something I do know about
