Most one day insurance companies will require you to be at least 21, though most raise that to 25 for the supra.

If you do find a company that will insure you please let us know! Kayla here is having the same problem getting short term insurance as she's only 20.

Does that rac thing really work?

I have used http://www.insuredaily.co.uk a few times to cover low value cars. Not sure id want to risk it on a Supra, especially at such a low age.

Have you triple checked the cover on the one at age 20? Take it its an NA?

Its gunna be under 2k fully comp on a twin turbo :)

Not to bad seeing I paid bloody 1800 quid two years ago for a 1.6 vw bora

So you're 19 years old and are waiting to purchase a twin turbo supra, correct? Excuse me for asking but what do you do for a living? Student, Full time employment, nothing?

Only asking as TT Supra's will cost more to run and maintain than a 1.6 Bora, so the 'saving' in insurance premium may not be that apparent - But if you know your stuff and have money to maintain it, good luck to you.

Im currently a student, yes your asking how does he afford it? I've been left some inheritance from my mum so I thought I would put it to something I would enjoy.

i had an insurance quote of 1000 with admiral, through confused.

when going to accept the quote through the admiral website,

admiral had based it on bein a "1800cc Supra"

after amending the car to the actual 3000cc TT supra, the premium was 1700.

had to apply a large voluntary excess to get the quote back down to 1100.

PS i actually work in insurace aswel!
