Check on your's .. you will have to be on optical input on the home cinema system. i am stumped, i have the sky hdmi to the tv, the sky optical to the surround system, the surround hdmi is connected to the tv, the sky is set on dolby digital, the sky movie is dd the blueray discs sound superb, but sky will still only play through the tv speakers, i changed the tv sound mode to external speakers and then i get no sound at all:search: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The digital sound from sky is transmitted down the HDMI to the telly.
