oops- toyota's new sports car

Toyota has also now decided to aim for older buyers – aiming at buyers in their 40s rather than their 30s, as market research has apparently revealed that fewer younger buyers would be keen on the sporty coupe than Toyota originally predicted.

90% will be autos then

TBH, that article means nothing. Autocar seem to be speculating wildly about the new '86, but it's all speculation.

Who cares if its £25k? I bet it'll trounce the Audi TT, the Pug 308GTI and the VW Scirocco. Plus, it'll be RWD... aimed at older markets? I VERY much doubt that seeing as they're giving an '86 to any Japanese tuning firm who wants one. I've already seen one with a carbon bonnet and drifty graphics plastered over it.

Don't worry Toyota fans, this thread is largely irrelevant.

It's unlikely to look like that when it's released... the bonnet needs to be higher to pass pedestrian safety regulations.

Really? How does Ferrari and the likes get away with low bonnets?

Is there a fine that they just pay, cause they can? :D
