RedM
I seem to recall reading that BT were going to do away witht the line rental charge and allow the consumer to choose who 'provides' the line. Is this still happening? I ask because I'd like to do away with BT altogether. We barely make £10 worth of calls in any quarter and keep the landline because we need the internet connection. We don't want cable because we don't watch enough tv to make it worthwhile (basically CSI and the odd film). Any suggestions? Basically we want broadband and a land-line but we don't want to pay BT for the privilege of having it. Cheers.
