Safely Insured
will get onto Sky tomorow and back on the blower to APlan and A/flux to ask why they are quoting me so high!! Hi, as I said in my PM, the prices you have got are not high, they are very competitive for a single turbo conversion. Once I have your contact details I will arrange a call back to see what we can do. Thanks Ollie Sky Insurance

Thanks Ollie Sky Insurance Hi mate, just replied yes if that quote was for a single turbo i would be happy, however that quote was just for my TT for now - which really is poor!! look forward to hearing from you shortly
add heywood
As said it's all about the postcode lottery... I couldnt get quotes for mine because of my "M" Manchester postcode. Im 27 and 8 yrs bonus, couldnt get a quote from Sky, and te others were stupidly high. Really didn't want to go with Adrian Flux as I think their customer service etc is shocking, but they were the only people to give a half decent quote (£1k)
SteveR
Hardly a postcode "lottery" - Manchester is a big city and as such will suffer with increased crime rates. Statistically, your car is more likely to get nicked/damaged than someone out in the county. A friend of mine lives in Stockport and he just bought an MR2: qoute for if it is kept on a drive (which unfortunately he doesn't have) £250. Quote for parked on the street, £450. I'd build a drive! kslb
I am still trying to get an affordable quote so far: A-Plan-£627 Adrian Flux-£840 and I am awaiting a call back from swinton and sky, fingers crossed. 33 yrs old with 9yrs NCD and an AB postcode.
