Anyone recomend a cheap but good company?

Where does it ned picking up from and dropping off at?

well the seller priced up with the company he uses usually and said £140

its 100 odd miles

and i looked on http://www.nationalpallets.co.uk/

AND

http://www.onlinepallet.co.uk/

and seems to be around £55 + VAT

using a 1/4 pallet up to 250kg

 

just never used anything like this so was unsure.

65p a mile seems better than the 1.40 per mile

 

Between 50p and £1.50 should get you the services of a courier (small items in the back of a small van or car) larger items usually are delivered by parcel delivery companies who charge more per mile as they normally have Sprinters or something along them lines.

Local companies are normally cheaper as they have less 'dead' miles.
