PaulD76
Hey Not sure if this has been raised before, but when I drive my Aero top Supra with the roof off, it is so noisey. Feels like im doing 100mph when im doing 30mph. The wind deflectors seem to be the problem, but am i missing something here? My wife starts to complain when I ask her to hold them down when im driving ... it seems that when i do 65mph the force of the wind pushes them down, but sadly i cant do that around town.. not a big deal but any thoughts? any clips or anything? Stan
Remove them, sorted I always heard they were to reduce airflow into the back seats so your back seat passengers didn't get blown about too much.... however due to the fact I never have passengers in the rear, I removed mind. AndrewOW
Yes, remove them, but you will have to have one window slightly down at least, as the buffeting can be quite something! When I go topless, I always drive with the windows down fully anyway, and that stops any of that. Invest in some secure head wear after that. PaulD76
Thanks! I never thought to remove them... always thought they served some important purpose - will take a look later.. cheers!
Stan
It's only 3 screws across the top of the windscreen and the whole assembly lifts out.
The Raven
I have suffered from one missing, its awful IMO the wind takes your head off. Try it anyway.
AndrewOW
It's a choice between continuous whistling, or head banging buffeting! Your choice I prefer the latter, but only if you lower a window, then it's not too bad IMO.
ChrisH
I heard that they are supposed to reduce drag by deflecting the wind over the top of the back section - dont know if it works though.
