miko_supra Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 I bought a new 3 seater sofa and armchair from DFS 13 days ago, but having had a good measure up I dont think they will actually be able to get the sofa into my lounge due to the cramped layout of my front door/hall way/lounge. I have been told the order will take 12 weeks to arrive, and I now want to change it to a 2 seater sofa (I couldn't measure up before as I only moved into the place last week.) I know places like this can be a right ball ache to try and work with once they've got your signature so I'd like to know what my rights are? Oh and I signed in store and took out a 3 year finance plan too if that makes any difference. I've had a good look around on the internet and can only find people having issues with canceling an order. I would have thought I stand a better chance as I want to remain a customer with them, but I'd like to be prepared before I go into the store tomorrow.
