Been looking into an exhaust for the NA and dont fancy spending silly money at the moment so been looking at this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-MK4-NON-TURBO-CATBACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM_W0QQitemZ250549663720QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=&rvr_id=&cguid=0d1aa4c81280a0e201d6f1a6ff8c3570

I have used the search option and this exhaust system has not come up, so I was wondering if anyone had some thoughts/experience relating to this particular product?

Cheers in advance!

In my experience you get what you pay for. It seems abit too cheap, I can imagine it wont fit or very very loud (even thou N/A's are loud with aftermarket) or it may rust within 6 months, However i have never tried this exhaust so wouldn't know for sure.

Oh and the fact it says "This Exhaust system will improve throttle response, and increase power by up to 15BHP"

Looks like one of those TRD style exhausts.

As afore mentioned you do get what you pay for, but then again it's cheap so I'd buy it anyway, see what it's like and if it turns out to be crap then at least you didn't spend a fortune on it!

If you do get it be sure to check back here to let us know your verdict.

I did read that and ignored it as it is obviously a selling gimmick. I am just thinking that for that price and to get me by, I might give it a go as I think the next step for me in a year or so would be to get a TT.

Go for it then it may be a good buy, but let us know what its like eitherway.

Someone on here told me "buy cheap buy twice" which is good advice IMO as ive been suckered into buying cheap on items for previous cars ive owned. Good luck with the purchase mate.

I brought a decat down pipe for my scooby from this trader, was good quality and fitted well, the gaskets supplyed were crap, and other niggle was one bracket Bolted on but had needless excess that got cut of so it didn't foul, but for the price it was I was well pleased with the outcome

It shouldn't rust as it's made from st/st but its 3" diameter pipework and i think 2.25" to 2.5" is much better on the NA.

I did wonder about that as 2.5" is the recomended for the NA and wasn't sure how much of an effect it would have. If it would have an adverse effect I will definitely steer clear.

Are you decat? If not then the fact it's 3" wont make a lot if any difference as your cats will be providing the restriction not the exhaust. If however you are full decat then possibly 3" might be a bit much and very loud. But if you have the cats in place and need a cheap exhaust then its a good bet at that price.

I am running full decat.

My last exhaust was buggered so I am running double decat on the stock exhaust till I find a replacement and the car feels very 'held back'. I might be tempted to put the cats back on if this is a better option unless someone is selling a decent second hand aftermarket unit.

try it mate , for that money whats the worst that can happen. being ss im sure youl see atleat 2 years out of it.

You know what, I would try it and if because you are catless you dont like it I reckon you would get most of your money back selling it on SH. Wish I could have found a SS one this cheap when I bought mine.

it looks very like the trd style one i bought off ebay "motoria mark" when i first got my car coming on 3 years in the summer. No rust, No problems at all.

Same here, had mine over the same period of time and no issues with the motoria , good value for money, and a cracking sound to it
