Converting Garmin custom routes for Tomtom help.

Hi

 

I have created a custom route for my Garmin sat nav using Google Earth and imported it sussefully using the EarthNC Trip and Route Tool. I have also saved a copy of the KML.gpx file it generated on my desktop. What I would like to know is, is it possible to use this file on a Tomtom or does it have to be converted to an OV2 file or any other file type.
