Nicholas Cage has done some cracking films: - Bringing Out the Dead - Lord of War - Adaptation - Wild at Heart - Honeymoon in Vegas Gone in 60 seconds and, to a lesser extent, Face off are worth a shout. IMO I think he tends to get lucky from time to time. He isn't a particularly good actor.... he just picks really good films from time to time.
