carl0s
as above really. Can a stock bonnet be TRD-ised faily easily or is it like nearly impossible to get clean cutouts? I don't want fibreglass or carbon fibre, but I want TRD.

carl0s
Do you think that means the job is easier, or do you think that means it might not hold itself together when propped up? I shouldn't think it's really going to take much stress when it's down.

absz
i have done this before on a standard bonnet. measured and marked out the bits that need cutting, masked bonnet around area to avoid damage and using a hole cutter drilled out the corner bits first to give a nice curve line. then cut out the rest using a air saw. all the inner strengthen panel was left intacted. Steve M
If i remember correctly Steve M and Matt Harwood both did theirs on standard bonnets? And both look very good. Dave I made both of those bonnets from taking a trace from a TRD copy bonnet and using a holesaw and jigsaw and a good straight edge. Took about 2 hrs to make but they do need to be resprayed after to cover the cut edges.
