Wonder how it will be until you want that 1.7 bar, you soon get bored dont you. Never get bored of that turbo whistle though eh. Still waiting for pictures of the receptionist!

Yeah ... it's still early in the year .. and who knows .. maybee that I bring the Supe with me when we get the RX8 back to you .. and ask Ryan for 1.7 bar :D:D

I haven't got a pic of the receptionist .. only cell phone number :p

Excellent results Luc :)

Long way to travel, but I guess if you want good results you have to :)

Thanks Jay. ;)

Yeah .. I don't let anyone get his hands on my car here on the continent. Having been the 3rd time now at Whifbitz, and 1st time at 2bartuning, I think I found the right guys to look after my car, although its a long travel each time. :)

Installed my H&R coilovers and Michelin Pilot Sports Cup (semi slick) tires, and did a full geometrie.

I have to say : WOW ... the combo of the coilovers and the Pilot Sport cups is awesome.

Still have to warm the tires up properly to see how sticky they really are .. but at 40°C, they start to stick very well on the road.

How are you finding the turbo now mate?

does it come on boost quite fast and hard or is there some lag with it? makes great numbers for 1.5 bar!! :D

Hey James.

I am very happy with the 91-79.

The small loss in lag compared to the PHR Stage 1 turbo is marginal. However, the additional 80 bhp are absolutely great.

Plus, it's not really fair to compare this setup vs my old setup regarding lag, as the previous setup was on stock cams, and the BW is running with HKS 264 cams (in and out)

To summarize, I really love this setup .. the torque is immense. I am not sure if I would have been happy with the 88-75 unit.

I think that the 67mm choice is the right one I made. The fact that it makes 630 bhp and 540 ftlbs at only 1.5 bar is great. I will probably have a remap later this year (no comment please Paul :D) to break into the 660+ bhp (raise the boost to 1.7-1.8 bar).

Regarding the spool of my setup, my 91-79 makes 1 bar psi at 3.7 k, and full boost (1.5 bar) at 4.1k in 4th gear - on the road.

After having been driving without a (front) license plate for 2 years, I got stopped by the Police. They asked me to be so kind and add it ASAP.

So I did it.

Here a pic, plus some underbonnet pics of the new setup.

The license plate

The Whifbitz / TDi Trip for 2011 is close. :nana::nana:

On 04th of April, I'm heading to Paul for the fitment of the next parts:

- Water/Meth injection kit (50%/50%)

- New water and oil pumps

- Whifbitz pulley set

- Relocation of the battery to the boot

- GReddy intake manifold with Q45 TB, TPS kit and piping kit

- Titan adjustable can gears

On 07th of April, Ryan will work his magic at TDi ... we plan to go for 1.8 bar of boost.

I hope to have 700+ soon :)

P.S. Forgot to mention that I installed facelift rear lights ... these look gorgeous on my silver Supra. I saw them on Jamsy's car, and was convinced that I needed those too. :)
