Waste of money imo. I used to use shock therapy. It does give an excellent buzz I must say. But find the longer you are on the stuff, the less the buzz you get each time to the point it doesn't do anything anymore.

Wait till Geo comes on and he'll give you real spiele.

How long have you been working out? Whether it is worth buying depends really on how long you've been working out and your goals etc. etc.

Yeh feels good. Try animal cuts - man that stuff is like doing drugs!! And it works too!! Get ripped in weeks ;) - Which actually reminds me I am on holiday in 3 weeks so nows a time to start again.

The supplements are incredibly addictive but can get pricey. I've gone natural now (as in no supplements). Its exciting trying new ones from the states. :)

All, interesting reading. I'm looking at getting back into it again, not been for about 5 years now. I'm 6ft tall and currently weigh 10 and a half stone. When i went, which was twice a week, I just couldn't get anything out of it. I still looked like a stick. Does this $%!£ you lot are using actually work though? Are there any side effects like you get with steroids etc? What does it do for the old ticker??

And do any of you lot have before and after pics, without trying to sound gay!

Yeh they work, at least for me.

Side effects for from supplements vary from person to person. I can get the occassional spot. Some friends it effects their skin.

I've had terrible stomach cramps from some protein stuff.

Too much caffine in the NO (big pump supplements) can cause me lack of sleep.

Creatine causes water rentention, I find it makes my face looks puffy and bloated so don't use it anymore. Defeats the "looking good" feel.

The thermogenic supplements (fat burning ones) can cause excess sweating (well it does for me. Any mild exercise gets me very sweaty lol).

ZMA can give me nightmares and extremely vivid dreams.

Supplements can get very pricey on a monthly basis.

There are more bad effects which I don't want to say publically. lol.

But the positive effects can be overwhelming too :D

As I say effects different people in different ways.

So you've tried a few then!!!! Any top performers out of those and any you'd say had the least side effects.. I'm going to Italy in August and looking at starting the gym again asap so, need to hit it pretty hard as I don't want all the wifes family calling me skinny like my 5 year old neice does! I'm not looking to be the next Arnie, just well cut and bigger!

What sort of £££ is this sort of stuff too? Average monthly useage etc

Depends how dedicated you are to sticking to them and what brands you go for. If you do as your suppossed to, I'd say £50-60/mo. That excludes quality food/gym membership etc. etc.

Can start to add up.

http://www.monstersupplements.com is where I get most of my stuff. Find them quite reliable. But they don't have all the "what hot" in the US stuff.

I tried ebay to get stuff but get fed up with stuff turning up late all the time.

Firstly, your gay.

Secondly I was 6'1 and 11 stone.

Creatine + Protein + Healthy Diet + Gym (weights only no cardio) now I'm 15 stone ish.

I don't have a six-pack or anything because I'm not out to look like a male model, just have enough raw power to make use of my body.

I went from being unable to bench 20kg to benching 70kg.

Im no bodybuilder though, some people take it too far too serious :search:

Deoends how much you take, I try to avoid as much as the protein shakes and eat loads healthy and fruits. But the celltech hardcore creatine does work my friends just started 4 months and gained 2 stone. Off course most training is about pumps

I'm happy to try things to increase size/weight, but just worried if i stopped using them i'd end up fat, which i really don't want...
