Chris Wilson
Looking for homes for two Nissan Infiniti IRL 3.5 litre V8 race engines. They are in the latter third of their running hours, BUT each engine comes with a complete, and sealed Infiniti rebuild kit with new crank, rods, pistons, valves, springs and retainers et cetera to enable a TOTAL refresh of the units by any competent builder. These are methanol fuelled engines and come without ECU and loom, but will run on a Motec or similar, and have been converted very successfully to petrol fuel. The same engine is used in tha Caparro "Supercar", in detuned form, on petrol, so there's a lot of knowledge out there. A VERY light, very compact V8 with modern architecture and an ongoing spares situation. One unit with a full spares package for a rebuild, albeit still currently complete and as last run, properly stored, is £14,000 UK Try finding a modern race V8 with a full rebuild suite for less! The spares package alone was originally £32,000 pounds. A guy feeling lucky could run one as it came, but I would rebuild it!
tbourner
Jamie could buy one to put in his Supra when he takes the engine out to put in his Aston.

Chris Wilson
He'd be better off with my Bonner 6 litre V6. I picked it up yesterday after running it up (Jeez, it's NOISY and very authoritative...), and taking it out of the March chassis. The Infinitis deserve something very light. A real bargain for someone with a use for them, and a lovely engine. http://www.chriswilson.tv/bonner2/bonner2.html
