edd_t
My little Pug 205 CJ is only firing on 3 cyclinders, I think i did a post about it before a while back. Have done lots of checks like complression etc, and bought new bits for it, but still it only fires on 3. Does anyone know the firing order for it, just to make sure I have got it setup correctly? Its the 1.4 CJ engine (non injection) any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Edd...
Swampy442
Generally a 4 cylinder engine firing order is 1,3,4,

stevie_b
If you can get to a Halfords, have a peek in the Haynes manuals (not sure they'd have one for a 205 on the shelf though): they usually give the firing order somewhere.

edd_t
totally missed all this, thanks Dave (that'll teach me for never getting on the forum anymore) so does that little caution sign next to 1-3-4-2 mean its wrong? SUPRALOOPY
No that tells me there is more info. I have expanded that info and screen grabbed it. No1. is the black dot on the dizzy, the direction of rotation is anti clockwise for the dizzy and no1 cylinder is closest to the dizzy. dizzy= distributor cap. So your leads would go 1 then in a anticlockwise direction 3,4,2 to the correct cylinders.
