pedrosixfour
I used to think that maybe, someday, I'd have the goods to do this kind of lunacy. I'm not so sure. I know the camera gives a deceptively narrow view but there is no getting away from the fact that this guy can drive.
Jake
what does it mean when the co-driver says "maybe"?
pedrosixfour
Its his way of describing the severity of the approaching turn as far as i can tell. It seems to mean approach at pace but with care,as in there maybe trouble ahead! As absolute means foot to the floor, flat means it'll make it, probably. Don't ask me what K left/right means though
Thorin
Don't ask me what K left/right means though 90 degree bend?
pedrosixfour
90 degree bend? Could easily be that. There are at least half a dozen different ways of calling the notes that I know of. Easiest way I think is when the corners/bends are rated and then called from one to six from slight kink to near hairpin. Its the only way I can process the info as its coming at me. As in 6 being slight bend and 1 being severe hairpin ?
pedrosixfour
As in 6 being slight bend and 1 being severe hairpin ? The system is used both ways, depending on the driver. A point you would want to be clear on with the co-driver before the start of the rally methinks!
