Porky1978
Get yourself a good quality HDMI cable which plugs in the back of your xbox where you stated and into the tele. Should have got a PS3 though, more reliable

Benyon
A little tip, You can do this now or just wait till you have a HD cable but you wanna go to your tv settings find game mode and make sure thats turned on, also find the sharpness setting and turn that down to 0 (should be pre set to 50). I was not pleased with my 32" samsung until I read about turning the sharpness down to 0, its to get rid of the jaggies and works quite well.
