evinX
Hey everyone, ive got 2 little problems on the supra that need to be sorted, my only problem is, i dont know what the cause could be. Here they are *Auto shifter + speedo cluster illumination *Passenger side headlight fog to be fixed (all other front lights work just fine) I know by law we dont need front fogs, but id like it to work propely. What could be the cause of these 2 problems?? Thanks, Kevin
stevie_b
Both could be caused by blown bulbs. I presume you haven't got the dash brightness turned right down have you? Just eliminating the ovbious stuff first.
evinX
Hi mate, yup i had time and tried that button on the dash that turns around, no luck, fog fuse in the engine bay are fine, some seem to be missing:S hopes thats normal?? Now ive discovered both front fogs arnt working:( ahhhhh this has been bugging me for a few months, but its now time to get this sorted, any more ideas will be of great help thanks, Kev
evinX
Also can anyone give me the parts numbers for the driver + passenger side headlight relays that are located on the slam panel next to each headlight thanks, Kev
stevie_b
It's normal for some fuses to be "missing" in the fuse box (mine certainly has, other specs may vary): they're just unused slots IIRC. If the bulbs are OK but aren't getting any power (test connections with a voltmeter to confirm), then suspect relays (if there are any in the circuit) or the switch. Not sure how best to track it back other than following the loom from the headlight cluster though.

I reckon it has to be the relay, my dad did some tracing a while back, removed my fuse box to check even further but nothing:(
Wyntersun
My front fogs don't seem to be working either, the bulbs are fine, but I cant hear the relay click as I turn the front fog switch on. Where is the relay for the front fogs located?
evinX
I replaced the relays, and my dad rewired my lights back to stock, my relays were moved to the slam panel
Wyntersun
I don't suppose there is a diagram on how they should be wired? For some reason my front fog wires have been cut and spliced into something else. Not sure to what as they don't work, but looks like the indicator wires have been changed to.
