Matt_J
My soop has just passed its MOT, the guy who did it did mention that my headlight beams were scattered. I thought the lense just needs polishing as being plastic it has been slightly discoloured. Has anyone managed to prize apart the headlights by putting them in an oven. I have got the information on how to do it, but just wondered how easy it is to get them apart & back together again?

Matt_J
Cool, looks good. I think I will paint them. I've also heard that the lenses can be 'de-lined'. How does this affect the MOT?
supradibbs
probabaly could be "delined" on the plastic lenses not something i would fancy doing as for MOT i cant see ho it would effect it as i dont think the facelift lights have them
Matt_J
I doubt if I would try delining the lenses. But painting the lights looks so good.

psymon
Is it a case of just spraying the chrome inside the light to get that look ?
