I would like to know if anybody in here have done this before and what are the results like. Does this mod handle the stress under braking as the stock setup. He is very good at these. But I am not sure cutting a piece and welding it back would be good enough as the uncut one. I'd personally prefer the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing my brakes and everything to do with them are made from one piece, you know? He has done some great projects in the past but this is the worst of all I suppose. I do have a problem too with my big brake kit when I upgraded my brakes. Chris Wilson Posted April 12, 2010 Share Posted April 12, 2010 Spacer is fine, but the lug change is only as good as the prep and welding, which in his case looks a bit Heath Robinson. I'd want to X-Ray the welds after completion, and do it with the upright stripped and blasted, off the car. A hell of a lot of trouble to nail cheap and nasty calipers and discs on, IMHO when UK calipers are available easily and for little money.
