Boost problem only 0.5-0.6bar!

Hi Guys!

 

I just had my car out after a long time in the garage due to winter.

 

Doing the winter I have had all my Intercooler pipes off due to changing all the silicone couplers to black. I also had the 45 degree coupler from my air filter off due to the same as above.

 

Last few years my car always boosted 1.2-1.3bar (without boost controller).

 

Now it will only boost 0.5-0.6bar, the car drives totally perfect like it always had but the boost is low.

 

I can feel that the second turbo comes online when i hit 4000rpm, so this may eliminate that my turbos is dead?

 

My car is a EU-spec so I have UK turbos.

 

What can be my problem!=?

Can it be that one of the intercooler clamps is not tightened enough?

Is it possible to have a small leak in the intercooler pipes? I thought it would blow off and make 0 boost?

if it came off completely I'd agree, you'll not get any boost. One of your clamps is probably loose though, so it seals when you are low boost, but it can't hold the pressure at higher boost.
