Jake
porsche, coz, well Its a porsche There's a lot of chavvy 996 NAs about. But in answer to Mig's question: I wouldn't have a moment's doubt, 997TT all the way. I don't like r35s at all. The 997tt is in a different league. Alex
997TT for me too... 997 is classy R35 is a brute.
Attero
Not a Porsche fan. Apart from the 918 Spyder. R35 for me.
michael
Porsche but I'd gay it up and opt for a cabrio because I like to mince.
imi
Nissan have never enjoyed great reliability compared to the other jap marques so not sure why the GTR should be any different. If it were a choice between the two then it would be the 997TT. Personally for that sort of money i'd go R8 OR an Aston Martin. imi
Project Blitz
there is a lad near me with a 996 turbo but upgraded to 997 brakes setup and different turbos dyno'd 590odd bhp grips amazing and really goes some! I'm a big 997 fan, i'd look into upgrade mods.
DaveR
GTR. Porsches are UGLY!
Chris Wilson
The Porsche isn't very reliable, the GTR seems to be unreliable. I wouldn't have either, would buy an R8 Audi myself.

DaveR
And the R35 is pretty?? Rose tints on your nose? Pretty? No. Fair enough. But purposeful? Aggressive? Chunky? Oh yes! The Porsche is just... nothing. You see so many of them that they sort of blend into the background.
supra_aero
I agree with those who says R8 or Aston for that kinda money. Given the original q. - 911= epitome of unoriginality, snobbery and boredom in my opinion, thus GTR everytime.
Chris Wilson
Being a shy and retiring wallflower I like to blend into the background, but the R8 / R10 are stunning looking and the R8 I drove was sublime, just sublime.
supra_aero
What's an R10? Is it even road legal? Google'd it and looks like a racecar to me
michael
What's an R10? Is it even road legal? Google'd it and looks like a racecar to me Audi R8 V10 rather than the V8.
DaveR
R8 V10, perhaps? Aston would be the way to go for me for the money, too. Gorgeous.
supra_aero
Audi R8 V10 rather than the V8. Really wow. thanks Must look that up.
