To clear up another grey area, regarding HID's, there is NO problem with them being fitted. Only stipulation is that if they are fitted FROM NEW (O.E part) then they HAVE to have working auto height correctors and headlight washers that work. Just wondering what this means for UK spec cars? Never even attempted to use the headlight washers so hope they work come MOT time but I'm not sure if the lights have auto height correctors fitted, would you know if they were fitted from the factory?
