mathew
Popped out breakfast time to pick up a news paper from a near by petrol filling station. I pull up onto the forecourt and park next to a pump which is on my right hand side. Head into the shop, pick up my news paper and then leave to get back into the car. as im in the car sorting myself out before pulling off i notice a fiesta pull up on my left hand side obviously wanting to use the opposite petrol pump. But this guy is literally half a foot away from my passenger side! just as i think to myself 'he aint going try and get out of his car parked that close to me'........BANG!!! the idiot has opened his door straight into my car! If that wasnt bad enough he then squeezes himself out of his fiesta and between the two cars and proceeds to fill his car up without even aknowledging what he has done! Im a very chilled out person and it takes hell of a lot to wind me up but when the gobsmacked feeling wore off i let rip on the c**t. his reply.......'what do you mean? i havent touched your car' this wound me up even more and pointed out to him the damage and how close he had parked. He seemed a few bananas short of a bunch and didnt know if he was coming or going. He looked like a right scruffy oldish guy with a ripped shirt and his car looked like someone had taken a baseball bat to it and for a split second i was overcome with a feeling of sympathy towards him but soon thought f**k that this c**t has just shown no respect what so ever for my car. so carried on with my rant at him. I told him something along the lines of 'you better have insurance on that f**king thing mate or some money to cover the costs!' to which he replied with some mumbles then put his hand in his pocket and handed me some notes. i counted it out.......£200!!! In all honesty i over reacted a bit regarding the damage that had been caused to my car (its miniscule) but still puzzled as to who or what this guy was just to be able hand me that amount of cash just like that. i was thinking maybe a gypsy as these usually seem to have plenty of cash. either way i now have an extra 'ding' on my beloved supra:(

Bobbeh
The money might cover the repair, but not the insult Totally understandable, these people need a friggin wake up call ffs.

Thorin
So you took up space at a petrol pump when you weren't even filling up with petrol? Perhaps you won't do that again next time then. Sorry, pet hate of mine (one of many).
Angarak
You'll probably have the police calling around about mugging some old man at a petrol station ....this is Great Britain after all.
Guest Luke Hero
Haha thats so strange. Worked out alright then other than the hassle of having the ding sorted
purplewitch
I bet he wasn't insured, taxed, mot'd and/or on a legal driving licence and was terrified he was on cctv and you'd call the police
Matt H
Jesus! how bizarre! I'm always scared of that sort of thing happening to mine due to the paint job I've got. Still, if it happened to my escort and somone handed me £200 I'd be chuffed!
peter richards
should of given him change you git , hes probably posted on the battered fiesta forum about some welsh guy mugging him in a petrol station lol

pistonbroke
Well thats a first, I'm surprised he didn't pull a jack handle out and smash your car even more. Thats what I would have expected to happen. I try not to go mad at people when they do something similar, I try and remain calm and diplomatic, then if I get nowhere I'll move on to some less friendly tactics. Abz
You call that a rant? I'd follow him home & then park close so he causes another minor scratch, do it 5 times and you got yourself £1,
