michael
No. You can buy various devices that try to let you use a mouse and keyboard but they are expensive and apparently not great. A huge shame really, I'd like to be able play shooty games with a keyboard and mouse too, I stink at the control pads.
bradleyh_15
there was an update yesterday which allows you to use the usb ports as storage devices so that might have changed but haven't a clue if you can now do what your suggesting! might be worth a try!?! a98pmalcolm
hay all. ok my microsoft keyboard work in the menus but not in actual game due to not being able to customise the controls but the x box is compatable with a key board in the dashboard
Smallshinyant
I dont think you will find an accetable solution. Mouse and keyboard would give you to much of an advantage in an FPS over a controller.
Purity14
I bought an adapter for the classic X BOX and TBH it wasn't amazing, but I went from being bottom of the pile at halo amongst my friends to being almost godlike.
michael
Mouse and keyboard would give you to much of an advantage in an FPS over a controller. Perhaps but then surely that would encourage others to move to a similar solution or for companies to produce a trimmed down gaming pad / mouse combo for the xbox? They could win a lot of PC gamers over to the dark side with this move.
evinX
Ahhh c'mon the xbox 360 controller isnt that difficult to get used to mate:)
fizzle
i was also a counter strike veteran player on pc and never liked the control pads on consoles only used to play driving games, until Halo came out... then i just persisted and you do eventually get used to it but would also much prefer the mouse/keys combo... also i want an xbox controller for my ps3, just cant get to grips with ps3 pad far to small for me and my MW2 suffers as consequence.. Tourniquet
I could not get used to playing with a mouse n keyboard !! I hate PC's at the best of times but it's obviously what you're used to as I jump from X-Box to PS3 quite regularly and I think the pads are great. Saying that though my bird can't understand the 'move with left stick, look around with the right' thing and she just blats around staring at the floor then the sky then back to the floor again - nugget !!! lol

a98pmalcolm
Ahhh c'mon the xbox 360 controller isnt that difficult to get used to mate:) Its a terriable controller i feel! The triggers are to far in so when you go to iron sights your for finger hits the top button and throws a flash bang. The analog stick springs are to strong. its like holding a brick.. I wont hardly use them lol but i feel they could have been designed a lol better lol
