Stevo
Anyone in the North East (Tyneside) got a sound meter I could borrow/use to check the decibels on my exhaust please? Wanting to book a trackday at Cadwell Park (limit 105db) and would like to check the car out before I pay them any of my hard earned! Its an NA running double decats and an HKS Silent Hi-Power (the NA version with the 2.5" pipe). To be honest I've got no idea what 105db sounds like, so very unsure about my own car... any guesstimates? Reckon I'll be ok? Usual standards apply at the track - 3/4 revs at 45deg & 0.5m away static test, with a driveby too. Anyone got experience of Cadwell - are they strict? hdnixon
Cadwell are usually strict as the track is very close to adjoining houses/streets
T2 MSW
I can also vouch for Cadwell being strict. They will static test every car. As you say 3/4 revs, 45 degrees & half a meter away. Im not sure its specifically due to close residence as cadwell is a fair distance to surrounding houses, it more of s MSV thing. They have been strict at every track day I have been too, including a drift day at oulton.
