dive_popo
(sorry for my English....) Hi, I have a little question, guys in France are unable to answer me when I ask, so I decided to ask in Uk, as you know much more about supras So I don't know how to call this, and I'll try to say it best i can I have a 1995 JSpec Supra, it arrived from Japan in July 2009, and from the beginning the engine was waving.... When the engine is cold its waves from 500 tr/min to 700 tr min and when it's hot it waves from 700 tr/min to 900 tr/min, sometimes it waves less and sometimes more.... I had an Opel before and i had the same problem, it was this http://www.tuneparts.co.uk/prod/led1799.jpg it only needed cleaning. I have no idea if we have something like this on 2JZGTE... I was thinking about one of these but I'm not sure... http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/3313/sanstitregr.jpg Thanks guys ! AlanM
Does it still "wave" ie fluctuate with everything switched off, in particuklar the air conditioning?
kill1308
My idle was also very erratic..... I changed my O2 sensor (as the fuelling was all over the place and it was not reading the correct voltage) and it is now very stable.... However your problem could be very different, so wait until someone comes along who knows what they are talking about
dive_popo
Does it still "wave" ie fluctuate with everything switched off, in particular the air conditioning? Its too cold to use the AC yeah it's the same when I turn it on I had my MOT 2 months ago and my CO2 emission was great, I don't think it's the o2 sensor... Guest guiddruid
carb cleaner = nettoyant carburateur (or injecteurs ... just as good). You should find it in any Hypermarket over there.
