RedM
I'm unable to get to a specific webstore. All I get is a standard Firefox screen saying the the server cannot be found. This happens when I'm at home using Plusnet. However, if I use a proxy (at home) or try when I'm at work I can get on the site just fine! At home I've tried XP, Vista and Linux plus IE7, IE8, Chrome, Firefox and Opera broswers. Does this sound like the site is blocked by my ISP? Attero
I used to have this problem regularly. I didn't come up with a solution but I blamed it on the wireless router. I no longer have this problem.
Scott
Only time I have had this issue is where the site themselves have banned my IP from their server for whatever reason. If I changed my IP it worked fine.
RedM
I solved it by hitting refresh umpteen times out of sheer frustration. None of the techy answers I got worked.
AndrewOW
As always if you have a problem, hit it hard with a hammer. That'll fix it one way or another!
kill1308
Could be crappy DNS from your ISP, or DNS poisoning from Malware etc....
