Just read a thread stating the polybushes can cause problems with the suspension geometery.Dont know if this is a fact but thought it was worth a post in case someone had some at the right money. danger_supe
hey i started a thread for similar items here, i have since decided to buy new as i dont want to come across this problem again whilst i own the car! unfortunately its the ball joints/boots on mine that need replacing. personally i didnt feel comfortable about fitting new ball joints to the arms...wouldnt want to ruin the nice snug fit they are meant to have! thats if you could find anywhere that sells ball joints seperately for the mk4 supe!! Keron had all the parts i requested in stock 2nd hand (+ o/s/f lower wishbone new), worth a PM or phone call - reasonably priced as well if its new bushes you are after check out here if you havent already... i did read the thread about poly bushes ruining susp geo too, but wouldnt that get sorted by putting the car in to get the Geo re-done once fit? Good luck!
