krisso_pl
I have burned my passenger side headlight trying to open it in the oven [sHOCK][/sHOCK] The inside of the lamp can be fixed but glass turned white in two places and is definitely dead. Anybody have one spare lamp? Or maybe just the glass? It was >97' HEEEELPP

paulrenn
Since you're in Poland, won't you be wanting a LHD headlamp? The UK/Jap ones are different so you might not find one easily on this board...

Scott
Did you follow the guide on here? I have tried to warn people about the guide as the temp mentioned is far too high. 100 degrees is absolutely plenty. I personally go with 80 degrees for around 10 mins. krisso_pl
yea,I did mate but somehow it wasnt enough to melt that silicone sealant. It started to melt after 14 min with 100 C but not enough.
Scott
Sounds like it isn't the original sealant then. Some people recommend silicone, I wouldn't touch the stuff with a barge pole as you are in for trouble should you need to crack them open again.
