barneybrendan
what would be the best place to fit my blow off valve.either the straight pipe that goes to the throttle body or in the longer peice that goes down to the intercooler.Or does it not make any difference. shima60
any is fine as long as its before the throttle body. mines right near the turbo it just depends where you want it to vent really. imo as long as the air is released and no turbo stall its alllll good ... With regards to how a Supercharger works against a turbo I wouldn't know where the best place for the BOV would be, hopefully other members would be able to advise you better. Though thinking about it, do you actually need to run a BOV on a Supercharger?

shima60
should be the same theory friend was running a twin charged car but while it was just on the supercharger we controlled the boost with the blow off valve. same thing though as long as its releasing the air needed it can be anywhere
Nic
It doesn't matter where on the intake pipe you fit it, but I would chose a location that is convenient for fitting the vacuum hose, ie. so you don't need to thread the hose from one side of the engine bay to the other.
