Sheefa
Hi all She has finally arrived on back of a trailer wit 30 miles on the clock. Focus ST-3 with all the extras including TS satnav, Ipod, Bluetooth etc and Reversing camera. The seats are amazing, they hug and grip your body unrelentlessly through the twistys. As for the power line and torque throughout the gears, absolutely amazed so far. Really pleased with her and she handles wonderfully. A few pics up for you. I am having her tuned by Mountune Ford next weekend which consists of a larger intercooler, K&N air filter, engine remap and a cat-back exhaust to take the power to circa 260bhp and 0-60 down to 5.8 secs. Looking forward to tracking this soon ;-) Greg

Sheefa
Ha ha, good call Andy! Yeah I've seen a few cops driving Black ones down the M42, quite scary! At least I can shred these tyres and not have to pay for them
steely
well done mate. there good cars them. can get some good figures from those engines. good torque too.
ozz
Thats seriously impressive to knock a second off the 0-60 with those mods, i had no idea they were so tunable. Wish I could do that with my BMW! I'm guessing the St3 is turbo'd? Single? Wonder how the FWD would handle the new power? To just add - I can't imaging owning a brand new car, must be a great feeling. Sheefa
Hi mate, yeah as Graham said it's 2.5 litre single turbo. Same engine as in the RS but RS puts out 300bhp with bigger cams and finer tuning. Having the Mountune kit fitted next week, a Sports Cat and Milltek downpipe as well as RS Spark Plugs and maybe a GGR CAIS. Should be around 280bhp by the finish line As for the next car feeling, simply amazing. So firm and crisp on the steering and everything is nice and shiny. Max Headroom
The volvo engine is very tuneable, I manage to get 320bhp with a few tweeks terrifying in a fwd car
Chris Wilson
Its a 2.5 5 cylinder turbo engine from a Volvo! Shame about the rest though Only kidding great engines, Primary Designs do a superb manifold and exhaust for them. Getting power = Easy. Getting traction = Tricky A friend even does a dry sump conversion and a multi throttle body conversion for the T5 engine.

Sheefa
Please do elaborate Jamie! What happens or has happened? I've had nothing but a grin on my face so far and many issues have been ironed out in the post facelift models.
JamieP
Lots of silly little reasons you probably dont want to hear have made us not like it. nothing has gone wrong with it, it was just a mistake as a family car.
Sheefa
Oh ok Jamie, cheers. No kids on the way for me so that's one less thing to worry about I suppose.
