Pred Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 Hi, i fitted my centerforce dual friction yesterday. no i have a problem the clutch wont release. i can push the pedal but the clutch wont release. the release fork push the release bearing only ~1cm in direction to the drive shaft Does anybody knows this problem? Lee P Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 You cant put the plates in the wrong way round, try adjusting the master cylinder with the rod on the pedal. I did one recently and it wouldnt clear untill I adjusted it all the way. If it still doesnt clear then there is a problem with the clutch cover. InSvain Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 i`ve had a problem once with my mastercylinder that was worn and it came up after i installed a new clutch pushing down the pedal; no problem pedal not coming back; needed some help from my foot:d how to solve this problem, install a new mastercylinder and to make sure also a new slavecylinder and btw you`re gonna have lots of fun with changing the mastercylinder:eyebrows: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
