DamanC
Lovely Full details of the spoiler please! I'm guessing it bolts onto the top of the hydraulic rams? Where did you get it and how much? Ta!
captainchaos
The spoiler was already fitted to the car when I got it its carbon, on the rams there is a small hole and the ram turns and releases the spoiler easy to remove. Here's a link to a place in the states you can also get them in FG http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-996-Turbo-GT2-Hydrolic-Bi-Wing-Spoiler-CARBON-FIBER-The-Best-Upgrade-/140668019020?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20c077a14c On the turbos, have a good look at the rads(3 of them) prone to going due to them being leaf collectors, check the spoiler rams for leaks (expensive to replace), waste gate actuators as they hang under the car and get alot of abuse from the weather and corrode/stick or get sloppy had to replace mine due to this. Other than that its the usual stuff leaks noises etc

jon5698
I just noticed the rear cage, when did you fit that chris? is it a bolt in one? no more trips for Davy in the back then lol
captainchaos
Of course still tickles me every time, as soon as I get in the car the other half gets a dig in the arm ha. The cage has been in about a year, its a stainless Tequipment bolt in from a 997, its there for Davy along with a roll of duct tape to attach him to it and gag him. Journeys with Davy are now peaceful.
jon5698
Ha ha you should just get some cuffs to attach him to it!
captainchaos
woooooo there Jon, Davy might get the wrong idea with that. We also tried to fit him in the boot, but he's just too big even after a little persuasion by Timba

captainchaos
Very nice surprise this year with the Insurance, mods declared and my missus as a named driver who is 23................£787 fully comp cant complain at that. Debating on a RWD conversion after the wedding is out the way along with a set of coil overs and a LSD, drops about 75lbs from the front end.
