Jamesy
Best result of the day for me!! Lost 3-0 to swindon and have gone from 1st at end dec to 4th now! Will be lucky to make the playoffs with their current form if 15 points from 16 games! ....heres hoping they stay down for an easy 6 points for the mighty Brighton next season! TopgunTT
Some great Footy results today, Especially Swindon winning. I'm not going to get involved too much as there are some touchy members out there who take it really bad when there team keeps getting stuffed
Swampy442
And even though we (norwich) lost its still good news
Alex
And even though we (norwich) lost its still good news It was hardly Norwich losing...it was a referee trying to make a name for himself...never seen a worse ref in my life.
Jamesy
Lol we've had our fair share of tw@t refs this season

Jamesy
Indeed. However i cant warm to the new stadium yet. Used to love away games at Ninian park!
dr_jekyll
ninian park was a special little shed. the new stadium is nice but the old park cant be replaced imo
Jamesy
Exactly mate. Same as loads of new grounds - nice but all a bit souless and no character. We (brighton) have had some seriously hairy times at Ninian park and the old Vetch field but they were 'proper' grounds
dr_jekyll
i like the old grounds with rusty roofs and standing areas , aw well those days are slowling dissapering into things of the past . shame
Swampy442
It was hardly Norwich losing...it was a referee trying to make a name for himself...never seen a worse ref in my life. Ive not seen anything other than BBC reports, were you there? From what Ive read it was a shocking display.
danny1987
I watched it on Sky sports and the first goal/pen wasn’t a pen because Russell couldn’t move his arm out of the way quick enough because it was fired at him from about 2 feet away, the ref wasn’t going to give it but the linesman said it was a handball, but he was miles away and couldn’t of seen it, the second was a poor back pass for Docherty which the striker got hold of ran to the box and dived before the keeper got to him but made sure his foot brushed him to make it look like the keeper pulled him down, so the keeper got sent off, then they scored the second pen and the third goal the striker had a cross from a corner and controlled it on his arm and then scored, the commentator even said if he would of had a watch on it would of hit it, it was that far down his arm and that was even more obvious that Russell’s apparent handball!! I think the officials had it in for us because we are so clear at the top and we only needed to win one more game to win the league and Tranmere are having a relegation battle
supraturbochris
i wouldnt worry about it mate, im a charlton fan and we are in exactly the same position as you (leeds) two great teams but are both slipping badly.
Jamesy
But YOU have our best striker now in forster! Cant believe we let him go
CraigGilchrist
I watched the Norwich game on Sky Sports too, was so excited there was actually a Norwich game on, but wanted to switch it off to lower the blood pressure by half time. First penalty was bull, and the 3rd goal was just shy of being as bad as the Henry handball against Ireland... But the keeper kind of deserved to get sent off; no contact really, but he was an idiot to dive at the dudes feet.
RobD
I'm hoping for a few results today, I want Cardiff to beat Nottingham forest and Newcastle to loose and the baggies to take all 3 points at Watford should see us basically promoted and still in the hunt for winners of the championship! It won't go like that though we'll loose and all the others will win! Lol hoping Norwich come up aswell!
CraigGilchrist
Sorry, but I'm a Newcastle fan (2nd team, after Norwich), so I'll be hoping for 1 different result Not so bothered about winning the Championship; want us to guarantee promotion first before we worry about where we finish.
